Paulette

paulette@notorious-scrapaholics.com

My name is Paulette, and I’m a scrapaholic.  In 2003, I finally dove into the hobby after years of coaxing from friends and family.  I knew I’d love it. Maybe that’s why I refrained from going to a crop for so long.  As I suspected, many other things I love have taken a back seat to scrapping since I was bitten by the bug.

I especially enjoy cropping with friends while listening to music.  It freaks me out for a beverage to be anywhere close to a scrapping work space.  Printing my own photos is preferable to trusting someone else with the job (yep… serious control issues). ...

Karen

karen@notorious-scrapaholics.com

My life has been richly blessed.  I am a wife, proud mother of two, and a doting nana of two.  I’m also fortunate to have many special, caring friends.  During the week, I stay quite busy as secretary in the business my wonderful husband and I started just seven years ago.  Blessings have been showered upon us in our professional lives as well.

My daughter, Jennifer introduced me to scrapbooking about nine years ago and I immediately became addicted.  I must admit to also being a paperaholic as well as a scrapaholic.  Collecting beautiful paper is a true passion of mine.  I absolutely l...

Phronsa

phronsa@notorious-scrapaholics.com

My name is Phronsa, and I've been a scrapaholic for over 10 years.  I love the adventure of scrapbooking, meeting new scrapping friends, and best of all -- SCRAPLIFTING!  Without idea books and lusting over other people's creativity, I would have some UGLY pages (and NO ONE wants UGLY pages)!

About 11 years ago, one of my dearest friends hooked me after inviting me to a Creative Memories Class held at her house.  Before then, I treasured my precious pictures by displaying them in those forbidden yucky magnetic page albums.  Merciful Heavens!  Can you just imagine?  Well, now ...

Carolyn Neira

Carolyn’s oldest daughter, Shannon invited her to a Creative Memories crop for Mother’s Day, 2003. This special day the two of them spent together was the beginning of a shared passion for the hobby of scrapbooking. About a year later was when Carolyn really became enthusiastic and started using more embellishments and interesting techniques on her pages. Since we first met, she has gone from novice to creator of pages worthy of everyone’s praises.

Paulette and Phronsa made Carolyn’s acquaintance at the February, 2005 Camp Sumatanga retreat hosted by Renee Johnson. They were instantly drawn to her effervescent personality. ...

Cynthia Hutsell

The very first crop Cynthia ever attended was hosted by Renee Johnson at Camp Sumatanga in February, 2005. This is also where Phronsa and Paulette met her. Even though she was new to the craft, she hardly lifted her head the entire weekend. During those three days, she completed over twenty pages!

One of the most unselfish acts we have ever witnessed was the composition of a very special scrapbook by Cynthia. A precious and much loved niece of hers lost her life at age ten, only a few days before we met in 2005. Recently, Cynthia completed this incredible book for her sister as a memoriam to her [sister’s] cherished daught...

Doris Baxter

Doris Baxter married her high school sweetheart over 32 years ago and she’s still crazy in love with her honey. After living in Arkansas for most of her life, she and her family moved to Conyers, Georgia in 1999. They have three adult children and their first grandchild, a baby girl, was born in May of 2008. Doris’ oldest daughter gave her a 7x7 Creative Memories wedding album as a gift in October of 2002 and told her, “Mom, since it has a CM Snap Pack with it, all you have to do is put the photos on the pages.” Well, maybe she didn’t consider how incredibly meticulous her mom is. A week later, Doris attended her first CM party. It too...

Gloria Johnson

Just call her “Grandma”… finally. After waiting for many years to become a grandmother, two of her sons and their wives had babies within just a few months of one another. Talk about an elated scrapper! Now this special lady REALLY has something to scrap about. Preserving memories for her family’s future generations is very important to her.

Gloria loves gardening, photography and researching her genealogy. Family is EVERYTHING to her and she is such a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, mother and now… grandma. Most of her family all live close by and spend lots of time at the Jo...

Jennifer Holloway

Jennifer is a talented and inventive lady with an absolutely delightful personality. She is a mother of two children, ages eight and ten, and spends time with them developing their own imagination and creativity. Residing in Ringgold, Georgia, she stays busy as a wife, mother, assistant pre-K teacher, and also as a Close To My Heart Independent Consultant.

In 1999, Jennifer began scrapping and soon became a Scrap in a Snap consultant. Unfortunately, that company closed after she had been with them for three years. She researched other opportunities and was impressed with the benefits of working with Close To My Heart. She has n...

Pamela Dean

Pam has been scrapping for about thirteen years and stamping for around eight years. She considers herself a scrapaholic and feels that it is not only great fun, but also fantastic therapy! Currently, Pam is a Close To My Heart consultant and she enjoys it immensely, especially since it helps her pay for her habit of scrapbooking.

Having known one another for many years, Pam was the very first person to ever suggest that I (Paulette) try scrapbooking. She mentioned it almost every time I saw her. It has been a pleasure to reconnect with Pam and finally get to crop together.

She has five incredible grandchildren w...

Robbie Hatmaker

Robbie is a lady who wears many hats very well and has more energy than most teenagers! She loves photography and takes countless pictures of her gorgeous daylilies, which she raises on her farm. One weekend every June, she has a Daylily Open House where she serves refreshments and welcomes guests to see her gardens. Available for purchase are hand dug (while you wait) clumps from over 525 varieties of daylilies.

Grandchildren are also a very important part of Robbie’s life. She loves photographing them and creating small scrapbooks about their hobbies and other “life stuff” to give them as gifts. She especially enjoys ma...

Shanna Coan

Shanna has been an avid stamper for about ten years and scrapping for eight years. Cropping and preserving her family memories in scrapbooks began when her oldest of three children was born. Now that she has two more kids, she finds that her scrapping time has dwindled but the number of pictures she takes has increased!

Right now she feels more like a collector of scrapbook paraphernalia rather than a scrapper since her life is so busy. Her husband jokes that they need to purchase a separate insurance policy for her scrapbook room in their house. Shanna loves to go to crops and retreats to get her scrapping done. She and h...

Sherri Cunningham

We met Sherri when she attended her first NS Retreat in 2008. She got into scrapbooking in 2005 “against her will” when her friends gave her (a NON scrapbooker) scrapbooking supplies for her birthday It was Jennifer & Kelly’s evil ploy to get her into their scrap cult and it worked! She’s been passionate about it ever since.

Sherri considers the hobby a true stress reliever. She can go to her little scrapping spot and drag out all of those crafty things and just let go and loose herself in the craft. She never thought she was very creative, but has proved to herself (and anyone who sees her work) that she really is quite cr...

Stephenie Roden

Like many scrappers, Stephenie attended a Creative Memories party and fell in love with the craft. That was about seven years ago and she’s been preserving memories for her family ever since. Having married her wonderful husband, around the same time she began scrapbooking, she has worked towards keeping caught up with her albums from their wedding to the birth of a beautiful daughter in the spring of 2006.

Stephenie stays very busy working full time in Gadsden as an assistant for Dr. Keith McDuffie, Endodontist. Her schedule as a wife, mom of a toddler and full time employee doesn’t allow for much cropping. So, she loves a...

Jan Bonka, Stampin Up! Independant Demonstrator Jan Bonka, Stampin Up! Independant Demonstrator
Jan has been a Stampin’ Up!© Independent Demonstrator since October, 2004.  Originally from Michigan, she and her family moved to Alabama in 2002 after living in Florida for twelve years.  We met her through Jinger Entrekin, who gave Jan her Stampin’ Up!© customer list when she (Jinger) decided to no longer be a company consultant.  So, we invited Jan to come to Rheba’s home for a weeknight crop and soon, she became a regular.  Her understanding husband knows that most Thursday evenings, he’ll be a “scrapbooker’s widower”.

Besides stamping, making gorgeous hand made cards, and many 3-D items, Jan enjoys gardening, reading, and playing on the computer.  She still considers herself to be a novice cropper,...
