Andrea is not only an incredible photographer (PLEASE check out her web site for examples of her true gift with a camera), she is also an AWESOME scrapbooker!!! What beautiful pages she creates!

For our 2008 event, Andrea donated two gift certificates. The first was for a free ($50.00) sitting fee. Phronsa won this prize. The second gift was a free 11X14 portrait ($35.00) with a paid sitting fee. Jen M.

Located:Buford, GA

The Archivers store in Buford, Georgia (located at Mall of Georgia Crossing). Traci Penrod, event coordinator, donated a variety of scrapbooking goodies which were given away at our 2008 retreat. Some of the items were included in prize kits and some were given in attendee goodie boxes.

If you've never been to an Archivers, by all means... get there however you can!!! What a selection of scrapbooking merchandise they stock!

Billie Joyce Williams, AVON
Located:Rainbow City, AL

Billie Joyce has been an AVON Representative for over 22 years serving approximately 180 customers (and still growing) in the Rainbow City, Gadsden, and Southside areas. Phronsa has been a regular customer of hers for about 12 years.

Billie Joyce's contribution was a huge collection of various AVON products with a total retail value of over $100.00! We added items she donated to several prize kits. Also included in the wonderful array of items she gave were two beautiful necklace and earring gift sets. These were won by Michele and Sally.

Carol Campbell

Carol is a very special friend of Paulette's and a fellow Etowah County Master Gardener. She is also a talented crafter, artist, and painter. For the retreat, she donated 12 beautiful note cards which were adorned with copies of some of her water color prints. The original prints were hand painted with love by Carol and featured gorgeous birds, flowers, and other lovely subjects.

Jennifer Stalnaker won this prize.

Cracker Barrel
Located:Ft. Payne, AL

Ft. Payne, Alabama's Cracker Barrel is located at 201 Cracker Barrel Row, SW (256-997-9204). Manager, Debra Gilbreth donated a gift card good for dinner for two and the store also gave us some large paper sacks to be used at the retreat for personal waste baskets.

Shanna won the gift card and was THRILLED to receive it!

Domino's Pizza
Located:Gadsden, AL

The Domino's located at 276 3rd Street, N., Gadsden, AL 35901 donated 75 large pizza boxes which were hand painted by Jennifer Holloway and filled with scrapbook supplies for each attendee. Yes, these were our goodie boxes! Thanks to Judy at Domino's!

Eagle Ridge Embroidery

Darlene and Phala of Eagle Ridge Embroidery donated a black tote with our Notorious Scrapaholics logo embroidered on it. Wendy won this gift as a prize for the page layout contest.

Elaine is one of our talented repeat attendees. She makes tear bears that are to DIE for! They are absolutely adorable. For the 2008 event, she donated a giant Bazzil tag covered in removable tear bears of various colors and styles which could be used on scrapbook pages, hand made cards, and other paper projects. The prize was won by Jenifer Rhoden.

Marvis Burke, Massage Therapist

Phronsa and Paulette first met Marvis (A.K.A. Marvelous Marvis) at a scrapbook retreat in March of 2007 which was hosted by several Creative Memories consultants from the Chattanooga, TN area. Marvis instantly stole their hearts with her gentle spirit and ability to make one feel as if they've known her for many years instead of mere minutes. She is also incredibly gifted with working out those "kinks" in tense shoulders and back muscles from hours of sitting at a crop table!

We are so thankful that she has agreed to spend the weekend with us in Mentone during our 2008 retreat. She will be available to help us relax and better enjoy the time we spend creating those many layouts during our days at Camp Skyline. Be watching for an article on our site with details of how to schedule a personal massage prior to the event.

Marvis donated a gift certificate for a 15 minute massage. Iris Martinez won the FREE massage and enjoyed every second of it!!!

Scrapbookers Painted Page is a new business located in Colcord, Oklahoma which offers a unique selection of one of a kind hand painted art designs by a special team of talented young women. These unusual, painted papers are printed on premium quality cardstock. We saw some of their gorgeous papers at the Duluth, Georgia expo this summer.

Jennifer of Scrapbookers Painted Page sent us a huge box filled with several designs of their awesome papers (TONS of each design). We shared that paper with our attendees in each ladies' goodie box as well as adding some of the papers to coordinating prize kits.

They hold crops almost every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:00pm until 10:00pm. Be sure to check out their spotlight on our site.

For our 2008 event, they donated TONS of stickers, embellishments, and other items which were used to create prize kits as well as some which were added to the attendees' goodie boxes.

In addition to there donations, Staci & Jenifer also allowed us to borrow some six foot tables for our crop room during the retreat weekend.

If you ever have a chance to go to the Mall of Georgia, don't miss Your Scrapbook Clearance Center! Plan to spend a couple of hours browsing at a huge selection of supplies. There is also another branch in the Pigeon Forge area, next to Your Scrapbook Super Store.

For our 2008 event, they donated two heritage idea books which were added to a C-level prize kit won by Jen M. A "Scrapper's mug" was given as well that we paired with a matching journal (and threw in some gourmet hot chocolate mix) - this was won by Angie. Lastly, they donated a 12x12 album with a matching 2 drawer box filled with embellishments. That prize was won by Amy C.
